Car returns to ebay 8/1/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1990-Jaguar-XJS-XJS/401575284563
Car has a buy it now price of $9,000 for 6 days, seller coolc85, car now said to be in London, Ontario, Canada, 61k miles.
Seller's description:
Up for your review and consideration is this 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible that is finished in rare color combination . Black with black top with tan Conley leather interior. This car is original in every aspect including the paint and mileage at just over 61,000 miles. That is with the exception of spark plugs, battery, tune up items, and tires. These items have all been upgraded with new items over the last little while and you will find them all to be in fine working order. This car runs amazingly well and drives down the road with a smooth ride, the transmission shifts as it should. As I stated earlier the paint is original and has a great shine and depth. The are very few flaws with in the paint and I would say for 28 years of age it is at least 80% or better. There is a small gas stain just below the filler neck which will buff out and reapers after 90 days but is very hard to see unless you are looking for it. The interior is showing signs of age with cracking and the drying of the leather due to the sun on it when top is down. If I was to keep the car I would consider recovering the seats and they would be good for another 30 years. Carpet shows well and is in great shape for 30 years of age. As are the door panels. The air works but will need a charge to bring it back to ice cold it is 134a I believe. All stainless is in great shape and has a bright shine to it. There is no damage to the bumpers front and rear or grill. The engine runs smooth and starts as it should has known leaks that I am aware of at this time hold great oil pressure and does not over heat even on hot days. The tires are very good condition with no cracking and there is lots of meat on them. The brakes stop the car as they should, and the E Brake works as it should. All lights are in working condition the license plate light should be replaced as lenses are cracked. There must be a bulb or 2 that is not working as indicator is on the dash have not checked into this. Radio works fine and has an amp and upgraded speakers. The top goes up and down as it should but unfortunately the boot has been misplaced. I have the books and records and all the original keys with the car. Oh, by the way it has been oiled since new and has no signs of rust what so ever. It was owned by its original owner until just recently. I purchased it just recently without the knowledge that the car I was looking for would come up for sale and I have purchased it and need to sell this car as its outside for the 1st time in its life.
To sum it up the car is a great survivor all the way throughout. With rare color combo and will be appreciating in value over the next years. The top goes down so its great summer fun. Great value for great looking car.
