Private Party or Dealer: Private Party
This 1990 Jaguar XJS convertible was acquired by the current owner 23 years ago and shows 57k miles. The car is finished in Signal Red over black and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a black convertible top, basketweave wheels, heated and powered seats, cruise control, an aftermarket stereo, and power locks and windows. This XJS convertible is now offered on behalf of the owner at no reserve with its removed radio, partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title.
The exterior is finished in Signal Red (CFC) and features chrome trim, fog lights, and a black convertible top with a glass rear window. The seller notes recently replaced hood supports.
The 15″ basketweave wheels wear Jaguar center caps and 235/60 Pirelli P600 tires. A matching spare wheel is located in the trunk.
The seats are upholstered in Warm Charcoal with matching carpets, and burl wood trim is present on the door panels, dashboard, and center console. Amenities include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power-adjustable and heated front seats, cruise control, and an Alpine stereo. Wear is noted on the driver seat bolster, and the passenger window and air conditioning do not work. The removed factory radio is included in the sale.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a six-digit odometer showing 57k miles, approximately 17k of which were added by the current owner.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The seller notes that the battery was replaced in 2018. Corrosion is visible underneath, and additional underbody.
The June 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Florida and Michigan through its most recent entry in 2010.
