Ebay item 3/16/20
www.ebay.com/itm/1990-Jaguar-XJS/283814422178
Opening bid $6,000 no reserve, no bids 5 days left in auction seller carloveratthebeach, 59k miles.
Seller's description:
1990 Jaguar XJ-S V12 convertible. The car only has 59k original miles and overall is in very nice shape for a 30 year old car! Within the last few months I have had the entire car painted (single stage now, clearcoat was worn and paint was faded) and a brand new German cloth soft top and headliner professionally installed. The leather seats are in good condition and the carpets/mats are clean. Dash top is nice, no cracks. Some of the clear on the wood surround of the shifter and doors was cracked and peeling (common) so my upholstery guy custom covered them with black leather. It looks very good! Aftermarket Parrot audio system (box/manuals in trunk). Electronics are working properly i.e. power windows, power top, seats, etc.
Note: I had just washed the car for the pics so the spots you see around it are from water dripping off after I moved it.
The car runs and drives well. Brakes and tires are good. I've put a little over 1,300 miles on it since purchasing last Fall. I use it mainly as a Sunday driver. Every now and then it makes a noise that I think is the fan clutch. It doesn't do it all the time. I haven't had it looked at but it runs and drives fine. I would rate this as a Hagerty #3 (Good condition) car, valued around $14,000.
