This 1990 Jaguar XJS was originally purchased from Leith Jaguar in Cary, North Carolina and stayed registered in the state until being acquired by the selling dealer in August 2019, reportedly after nine years of storage. The car is finished in Glacier White with a black soft top and a Barley leather interior, and power is provided by 5.3-liter V12 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes automatic climate control, heated seats, a power-operated soft top and mirrors, a trip computer, and a factory stereo. An oil change, new spark plugs, and fuel injector cleaning reportedly comprised the most recent service. This XJS shows 42k miles and is sold with factory literature, a full-size spare tire, a jack and tool kit, a top cover, a window sticker, records through 2010, a clean Carfax report, and clean North Carolina title.

The car is finished in Glacier white (NDK) and features a power-operated black cloth soft top with a heated glass rear window, which is shown both raised and lowered in the gallery below. The heated, power-adjustable seats are upholstered in Barley leather with matching door panels and center console trim as well as a beige soft top headliner. The carpets, steering wheel, and dash pad are trimmed in black, and burl walnut accents are found throughout. The car is equipped with a factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a trip computer.

Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage gauges. The six-digit analog odometer shows approximately 42k miles. The seller reports that this XJS collected just under 40k miles before 1998, was driven little from 2000 to 2010, and was put into storage from 2010 onward.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower with 290 lb-ft of torque and drives the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The most recent service reportedly consisted of an oil change and fuel injector cleaning as well as installation of new spark plugs.

Included in the sale are a 30-day temporary registration certificate issued in 1990, service records through 2010, factory literature and tools, and a window sticker which can be viewed in the gallery below.

The September 2019 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage with ownership in North Carolina from 1990 to April 2010.
