This 1992 Jaguar XJS convertible reportedly remained with the family of its original owner until 2018 and was acquired by the seller out of Florida in 2019. Now showing just 18k miles, the car is finished in red over tan and powered by a 5.3L V12 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include 15″ cross-spoke alloy wheels, front fog lights, a cassette stereo system, automatic climate control, and a power-operated convertible top. Approximately 1,700 of the 18k miles have been added by the seller, and work has included servicing the brakes and replacing the fuel pump and lines, ECU unit, tires, and more. This Jaguar won best in its class at the 2019 Jaguar Association of New England Concours and is now offered in Warwick, Rhode Island with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, a tool kit, service records from the seller, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The exterior is finished in Signal Red and features later-style full-width taillights, a black hood badge, and fog lights with Jaguar-logo covers. The beige soft top is equipped with a heated glass rear window and is shown both raised and lowered in the gallery below. A matching top boot is included in the sale. The seller states that a ceramic coating has been applied to the body and the chrome trim was polished.

Factory 15″ cross-spoke alloy wheels wear 235/60 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires that were mounted in August 2019. Service records indicate that the brakes were serviced in July 2019 with new pads, front rotors, and fluid. Curb rash is visible on one of the wheels as shown up close in the gallery.

The heated and power-adjustable seats are trimmed in Magnolia leather, and burled wood veneer accents the dashboard, instrument cluster, and center console. Interior features include an onboard computer, cassette radio, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The seller states that a replacement driver’s seat cover and floor mats are included in the sale.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an instrument cluster housing a 160-mph speedometer and tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, along with gauges monitoring battery voltage, fuel level, temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows over 18k miles, approximately 1,700 of which were added by the seller.

The aluminum 5.3L V12 was factory-rated at 263 horsepower, which is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. The power resistor block and ECU computer were replaced and the fuel system was cleaned in July 2019, while more recent work in May 2020 included replacing the fuel pump and filter. Service records from the seller are viewable in the photo gallery.

The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate lists a manufacturer date of November 13, 1991 and displays the factory colors and powertrain numbers.

The August 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other issues and indicates registration in Texas, Illinois, Arizona, and Florida through its most recent entry in August 2019.
