This 1990 Jaguar XJ-S convertible is finished in black over tan leather upholstery and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes a black soft top, a front splitter, fog lights, chrome-finished 15” basketweave wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, heated and power-adjustable seats, an AM/FM cassette stereo, and air conditioning. The car was sold new at Howard Orloff Jaguar of Chicago, Illinois, and spent time in Florida before it was acquired by the selling dealer in April 2022. This Jaguar XJS shows 20k miles and is now offered with partial service records, a service booklet, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title.

The car is finished in black with gold pinstripes and features a power-operated black convertible top and a matching boot cover. Additional exterior details include chrome-accented impact bumpers and mirror housings, fog lights, a front splitter, a power-retractable antenna, a trunk-mounted brake light, and polished dual exhaust outlets.

Chrome-finished 15” basketweave wheels wear Jaguar-logo center caps and are mounted with 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. A full-size spare is housed in the trunk and wrapped with a vinyl cover. The car is equipped with a fully independent suspension and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. The front shocks were replaced in August 2020.

The cabin features heated and power-adjustable seats trimmed in tan leather while wood veneers accent the dashboard, door panels, and center console. Appointments include a lockable glovebox, a Jaguar-branded AM/FM cassette stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, and an onboard computer.

A leather-trimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer along with vertically oriented auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 20k miles, approximately 60 of which have been added by the selling dealer.

The fuel-injected 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed and the hood struts and heater control valve were replaced in 2022. The seller notes the battery has also been replaced.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The right exhaust pipe ahead of the muffler was replaced in August 2020.
