The car runs very well and rides like a dream. It has been lovingly cared for and serviced. I have approximately 20 years of service records. It is a wonderful highway cruiser and fun around town, as well. This car gets a ton of attention from bystanders who love to give waves, thumbs-up and shouts. I took it on an 800-mile road trip through New England last summer and it was brilliant throughout with no problems. It has an upgraded exhaust system as well as a custom radiator (because these cars were know to overheat). I have encountered no such problems. It also has beautiful wire wheels. The upgrades to those three components are worth roughly $10,000 alone.

A part of me wants to keep this car forever, but I tend to buy, enjoy for a while, and then move on to try something else. I have another classic that has been driven only 100 miles over the past two years, so that time to move on has come for this Jaguar I have loved.

This 1992 Jaguar XJS convertible was acquired by the selling dealer in 2023 following registration history in Maryland and Pennsylvania, and it now shows 58k miles. The car is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Brooklands Green over Parchment leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, fog lights, a power-retractable beige soft top, 16″ wire wheels, heated power-adjustable seats, a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. The cabin features heated power-adjustable sport upholstered in Parchment leather. Interior amenities include a remote six-disc CD changer, cruise control, air conditioning, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 58k miles, approximately 400 miles of which were added by the selling dealer.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 263 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in July 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
