Seller's description:
1990 Jaguar XJS V12
The Jaguar XJS has gained momentum in recent years. Jaguar’s sleek grand tourer with its silky smooth V12 is finally being recognised as a great classic and an icon in the brand’s history. Read more about it in our blog post about the XJS…
This silver XJS V12 coupé was built in April 1990. We acquired it at an auction in California, where it was sold by the workshop after a probably unpaid water pump replacement.
The Jaguar’s body is generally in solid condition, with cosmetic imperfections and small rust spots on the right rear fender and left rear fender (pictured in detail). Second paint, showing some scratches and chips. All panels still contain the original VIN stickers, except for the bonnet.
The interior needs to be partially renovated. The radio and speakers have been removed. One key, no manuals or booklets.
This car is a non-runner. The water pump replacement job has been left unfinished, with the new coolant hoses, belts and radiator fan still to be properly mounted. When connecting a battery, the engine turns by starter motor. The ignition module on top of the engine is disconnected and not included. Other missing parts are the grille and spare wheel.
We have an AutoCheck VIN report, proving that the XJS has been with 3 previous owners. From 1991-2005 it was registered in California, between 2005-2013 in Oregon and since 2013 in California again. The last CA emission inspection was passed in 2013, at 94.071 mls. Current mileage is 103.466. No damage or other events registered.
An appreciating classic with great potential, this XJS deserves to be revitalised.
Price: € 4.500
