Ebay item 12/3/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1992-Jaguar-XJS-COUPE/332920308345
Car has a buy it now price of $12,500 for 6 days seller scottquantum, 42k miles.
Seller's description:
Others say low mileage, this one actually is. And more than just low mileage, it has been extremely well cared for and pampered by its original owner. In fact, exceptional cars like this do not come up very often. If you have been looking for one, I would act. A 2 owner car, it has only 42,408 miles. It is the big 5.3L V12 that was improved greatly under Ford's ownership. Facelift Coupes are rare... But the Artic White with Tan interior is super Rare!
Not to be mistaken with earlier, pre-1992 V12 Jaguars, all of the concerns of previous years were taken care of in the final 4 years of Jaguar XJS V12 engines. 1992 was the first year of the 'Facelift' model. Vast improvements over older models are seen throughout. Revised V12 with 263 HP (depends where you source info from), which is slightly less than the 274 HP from 1994 6.0L V12. Smooth is the characteristic of the engine as well as the driving experience. Improved taillights, dash, instrument cluster, interior surfaces (front and rear seats), headlights, ECU etc. etc. Several hundred improvements were made over the 1991 and previous models. Mostly, I like the look of the new 'quarter' window, that does not have the plastic 'sail' behind it like previous models. Most definitely a special car!
Interior is spectacular, definitely collector car quality. The key fobs actually open the doors remotely, which is rare, even at the JCNA events (in other words, from people who keep meticulous care of their cars)!
Runs and drives LIKE NEW!
Chrome BBS wheels, including a chrome spare (!!!) and tires that have only a few miles on them!
