Current bid $3,460, no reserve, 11 bids 3 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
Time to sell my dearly loved '95 Jaguar XJS convertible as I am spending more time on the road and she's just not meant to be a commuter car. This is a V-12 Jaguar XJS convertible and it runs just fine. Starts everytime I jump into her. Not the best gas mileage but who cares, its a fun car to drive around in. All windows work including the 2 small rear ones. Power top works but is a little slow but gets the job done. It has the matching convertible top cover. Mechanically it never has given me a problem. Mileage is low, it has just 71,xxx miles on it. the tan interior is in very nice shape, seats are very good and the overall interior impression is that yes it is a used car but it was treated with respect and care over its life. The bulb on the left side of dash for the speedometer is out, radio works great and is the factory Jaguar radio. The clock works. Exterior of the car is very nice but please note the clearcoat is peeling on the paint in places so she'll need a paint job to look like the 10 she once was. The top is like new (please note in the picture on the bottom of the top it looks darker than the rest, it is not discolored that was just wet from me washing her). Headliner is great. All chrome is good, wheels are chrome and look good but they look like the chrome is beginning to get black spider-webbing which is noticeable when you get up close. Headlights are good, no cracks or breaks. Tires are very good. Exhaust sounds excellent!! I don't know what else to say other than I hate to see her go. This car was involved in an accident long before I got her and it has a clear title but it does say rebuilt on it. I have no idea what this means but please inquire about this before bidding.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
