Clean Carfax Report
Private Party or Dealer: Dealer
This 1995 Jaguar XJS convertible is finished in a light gold metallic over beige leather and shows 71k miles. The car was sold new in California, and spent time in Virginia and North Carolina before coming to the selling dealer in New York. Power comes from a 6.0L V12 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Approximately one month ago the car received an oil change, A/C service, and inspection. This Jaguar is now offered in North Salem, New York at no reserve with 260+ pictures, keys, a factory boot cover, clean Carfax, and a clean North Carolina title.
The light gold metallic finish is accented with brown pin-striping and a black soft top incorporating a glass rear window with defrost. The seller notes a few body panels appear to have been refinished, though the included Carfax is free of accidents or other damage.
1995 was the penultimate year for the long-running XJS. As the model progressed through the years Jaguar made several improvements, including replacing the prior inboard rear brake system with a modern outboard setup. This particular example is fitted with a rear spoiler and 16″ alloy wheels mounted with 225/60 Pirelli P4 tires. An exterior walk-around video can be viewed above.
The interior is trimmed in beige leather upholstery with black piping. Some wear is present on the driver’s outer-bolster.
Burl wood adorns the door panels, center stack, and dashboard. Factory equipment includes dual power/memory/heated front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, trunk-mounted CD changer, trip computer, power windows/mirrors/locks, and more. The mechanical odometer indicates just over 71k miles.
Beginning in May 1992 the original V12 was enlarged to 6.0-liters, with Jaguar stating the revised engine output at 301 horsepower and 351 lb-ft of torque. Drive is sent to the rear wheels via a GM 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The seller states recent maintenance included an oil change, A/C service, and inspection.
The accident-free Carfax reports four owners and North Carolina registration since March 2008. Linear odometer progression and a number of service history records are also listed.
