An absolutely exceptional and extremely rare and collectable example of this original southern California owner's classic 1994 6.0L V12 2+2 roadster with only 50,200 original miles! Gorgeous and most desirable color combination of original factory 'British Racing Green' color paint with gold painted factory pin stripes, gold center colored factory wheels, perfect condition original tan color factory canvas power soft top with original matching tonneau cover and beautiful doeskin tan leather interior with 'British Racing Green' piping! This particular car must be seen to be truly appreciated! A real head-turner! Purchased by original owner in 1994 from 'Newport Imports Jaguar' of Newport Beach, California with all original dealer service manuals and handbooks still available. Always primarily dealer serviced at 'Hornburg Jaguar' of Santa Monica, California with most recent full service prior to sale at 50,033 miles in July 2008 costing $2,863.91 and including new battery, multi-point inspection performed, A/C service and leak test, replace front shock bushings and upper Schoch bushings, replace front brake pads and rotos, coolant fluch, oil and filter change, transmission service, replace fuel filter etc for turn-key ready piece of mind driving today (Service records available)! Always garaged with absolutely no rust and no accident damage whatsoever with all original parts and paint, obviously owned by only very careful and mature driver since new - never abused, babied all the way! The original factory 'BRG' paint is in excellent condition with only the most minor of imperfections, if any, noticeable upon very close inspection. The original tan leather seats with striking 'BRG' piping are also in outstanding condition with virtually no signs of any wear, there are no imperfections in the dashboard or the walnut veneer and the door panels and the carpets are also in outstanding condition with virtually no signs of any wear. The tan softop with matching tonneau cover with 'BRG' piping also is in exceptional condition with virtually no signs of any wear. The interior is also completely original with it's 'Jaguar' radio/cassette system including a factory CD changer in the trunk and all the options and gauges are working as they should including the ice-cold A/C. Powered by one of the finest, race proven engines built by Jaguar, the smooth big block 6.0L V12 engine (earlier XJS models used a 5.3L V12) was produced for only the last three years of production (1993-95) and completely discontinued the following year 1995. It was a very low production model costing over $80,530 new in 1994 and with only 301 models imported to the U.S that year! It was a worthy successor to the XK series of Jaguar sports cars dating from the late 1940's and this particular engine is extremely strong and smooth running with excellent oil pressure and which does not burn or leak oil. The temperature always remains cool and the car drives exactly like a V12 Jaguar with such low miles should - no shakes or rattles - very smooth and powerful - drives the same as when it left the showroom floor over 17 years ago! The car is in a virtual 'time-warp', having covered only 50K miles in the hands of one very fastidious owner. With a new car smell as confirmation, this must be one of the finest examples available anywhere of this classic and increasingly desireable and collectable V12 Jaguar roadster - one of only 301 models imported into the U.S. in this penultimate year of production of the V12 XJS therefore proving a very collectable investment in probably the last classically beautiful design built by Jaguar in their long and famous history of classic lines - a sure-fire classic car investment for the Jaguar enthusiast or simply 'pride of place' in any astute classic car collector's collection! You will certainly look long and hard to find a finer example of this extremely low mileage always garaged and rust free V12 roadster available anywhere else.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
