Car to be at auction 7/2013
www.russoandsteele.com/collector-car/1996-Jaguar-XJS/46452

Auction description:
1996 Jaguar XJS Convertible
Newport Beach 2013
Consignment # 4048
VIN: SAJNX2741TC226090

Vehicle to be offered for Auction sale June 20th-22nd at Russo and Steele's inaugural Newport Beach, California Auction.

Offered by the original owner, this 1996 Jaguar XJS Final Edition Celebration Series Convertible is a mint example and very rare today. The owner drove it to their underground parking structure at work for two years and then retired it to their indoor collection. It has never been detailed, buffed, or driven with the top down. All wood was removed when the car was brand new and it has been re-veneered by Bill Rau, including the instrument cluster, at a cost of $6,000. The paint is 100% original, and the car has never been out of California. Offered in absolute mint condition and collector-owned by one fastidious caretaker from new, it marks a wonderful opportunity for Jaguar aficionados.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
