Ebay item 7/17/20
www.ebay.com/itm/1995-Jaguar-XJS/333657429599
Opening bid $21,000 no bids, no reserve no bids buy it now price $22,750, 9 days left in auction, seller dukebriley, 77k miles.

Seller's description:
This beautiful XJS has the original 77xxx miles and two physician owners, one of which I know personally. I have the complete history of this car with original manuals and factory brochure and documentation since day one.

In fact, this car retains the original dealer license plate frame with logo from Little Rock, AR. This being a southern car it is rust-free and has never left the local area - it is striking and totally without issues.

This Jaguar has been dealer serviced since new and is in absolute top condition. An auto-check vehicle history report comes with the car which shows that the mileage is correct and tells us more about the history of the car to include its accident free life.

All service is current with new brakes (calipers, ceramic pads and rotors), oil, trans, and rear differential change. This car has also had a complete AC service and compressor replacement and works perfectly.

The body of this spotless convertible is finished in a beautiful combination of the original Sapphire Metallic with a recent new stunning, professional re-paint with dark blue soft top and a tasteful cream leather interior.

Concerning the repaint, the original although still in decent shape had the deck lid (boot) exposed to the southern sun and had some clear coat fade. Likewise, the interior although okay was simply showing its age so it was also re-finished. Noticed I have posted some of the before and after photos of the car prior to being painted. Again, it was blemish free and has zero skim coat or bondo applied.

Further, the original ‘Star-Fish’ wheels have also been reconditioned and they are spectacular along with new performance Cooper tires in a somewhat lower profile than the originals (235 55 16 vs 225 60 16). It is smooth and handles like a Jaguar which is to say exceptional.

Bottom line, if you are looking for a documented Jaguar XJS convertible in exceptionally beautiful condition, in a great color combination with low mileage, this is the Jaguar for you - it is one gorgeous ride and as is obvious needs absolutely nothing.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
