Sellers description:
A beautiful EVERY DAY DRIVER. Garaged in winter and only driven in spring and summer and early fall. Exterior and Interior is in excellent condition and well maintained. British racing green with wire wheels and full 7" JAGUAR on hood and walnut gear shift knob. This is my personal vehicle and I am the driver and have maintained her. This 6 cly. has never given an issue. They are easy to maintain and are dependable unlike the 12 cly engines. This beauty starts up EVERY TIME and runs like a charm. These vehicles are made to run. She is as comfortable at 85 mph on the highway as she is 25 mph through town. New steering column was put in about 2 years ago and normal maintenance was and has always been done. This is a 20 year old vehicle with normal wear and tear. A few minor imperfections in interior (drivers seat has tear but fixable) as you would expect in a vehicle of this age. She is not showroom condition BUT she is BEAUTIFUL. I do not need to sell her but life is getting in the way and I am not driving her as often and not driving her the way she needs to be driven. You turn the key and you will drive her for the next 20 years. This is one of the best vehicles in the country. This is not overstated.

Drivers seat has some wear including a tear and wear on side however the seat is in good condtion. Coming out of storage the convertible top switch stopped working. Fixed this about 3 years ago for $175. Top is easily opened and closed manually which I do more then using the switch. I rarely have the top up. The top is in excellent condition. Slight scuff on lower right side bumper (just happened) wife pulling it out of garage. Will get a picture posted of it. It's very minor!

What I would do if I keep her: I would over the next year put new tred on her. Possibly fix the top switch (but I always have it down so its not a big deal for me) and fix the tear in the seat. THATS IT. Change the fluids and turn the key and drive her and enjoy her.Body and Interior in excellent condition. . New base coat clear coat paint done about 2 years ago. I own several paint shops and the finish is a beauty. No body work or accidents on this daily driver. NO RUST. Some imperfections in paint with one small ding on drivers side. She is that nice. As you can see I love this vehicle and are very ambivalent about selling her. But in the end she needs to be driven and I don't have the time anymore.

I am not giving her away and if I don't get what she is worth I will just keep her and drive her every now and then.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
