This 1994 Jaguar XJS 2+2 convertible is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Oyster over Doeskin leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, fog lights, a power-retractable brown soft top, polished 15″ basketweave wheels, power-adjustable front sport seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The car was purchased by the current owner in 2025, and work completed since 2020 involved repairing the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system, resealing the differential, servicing the brakes in addition to replacing the thermostat, water pump, radiator, fan clutch, and various suspension components. This XJS convertible is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with service records from 2007, documentation, an accident-free Carfax report, and a Nevada title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Oyster (SDE) and features a power-retractable brown soft top as well as fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below. The headlights are discolored, the alarm does not work, the left window trim seal is not air-tight, and there are paint chips and blemishes around the body.
Polished 15″ basketweave wheels are mounted with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. Records indicate that the ball joints, lower control arms, sway bar end link bushings, front brakes, and front ABS sensors were replaced in August 2022, while the ABS relay, rear brakes, and rear radius arm assemblies were replaced in August 2023.
The cabin features power-adjustable front sport seats and two rear bucket seats upholstered in Doeskin leather, and interior amenities include a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The driver’s door lock does not work, the upholstery is damaged near the left rear headrest, the stereo screen does not illuminate, and the climate control vent switch intermittently sticks.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 108k miles, approximately 600 miles of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report lists a potential odometer rollback in an April 2008 entry.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 219 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Service summaries provided by the owner indicate that a replacement water pump, fan clutch, and high-flow thermostat were installed in August 2022. The EGR valve, valve gasket, adapter, vacuum solenoid were replaced between June 2023 and June 2024 along with an oxygen sensor, the coolant temperature sensor, crank position sensor, throttle idler switch, idle air control valve, radiator, distributor cap and rotor, ignition control module, ignition coil, ignition wires, and spark plugs.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential, the latter of which was resealed in August 2023. A transmission cooling line repair was also done at this time.
