Only 44,300 miles!
SAJNX2746RC191099

We recently acquired this low mileage XJS after being in long term storage. Texas car it’s whole life. After a new battery, the car started right up and runs and drives well. A/C even blows ice cold still!

The car will likely need to be gone through and any deferred maintenance addressed, but overall a nice XJS that runs and drives well, if someone is looking for a little project.
Car has a few scratches on exterior, but overall, very clean
Interior is in good shape. Wood is cracking.
Top does not seem to work. It does not appear to be getting any power. Likely a relay or fuse.

Private Party Or Dealer: Dealer

This 1994 Jaguar XJS 2+2 convertible is a running and driving project finished in Oyster Metallic over Doeskin leather and powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, air conditioning, cruise control, an onboard computer, an AM/FM cassette stereo, and power-adjustable heated front seats. The car was reportedly acquired by the selling dealer following approximately five years in storage, and the battery was replaced in anticipation of the sale. Now showing 44k miles, this XJS convertible is offered with a tan top boot cover, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.

The car is finished in Oyster Metallic (SDE) and features a black convertible top, a tan top boot cover, headlight washers, tinted taillights, dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes scratches around the body.

Factory 15″ basketweave wheels wear 235/60 Lemans tires all around. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.

The interior is upholstered in Doeskin leather (AEE) with burl wood accents on the dashboard, center console, shift knob, and doors. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, an onboard computer, an AM/FM cassette stereo, and power-adjustable heated front seats. The selling dealer notes cracks in the burl wood trim.

The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 5,700-rpm redline, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 44k miles.

The 4.0-liter AJ6 inline-six was rated at 219 horsepower and 272 lb-ft of torque when new. Work performed in preparation for the sale included replacing the battery. The selling dealer notes that the car requires additional deferred maintenance.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photographs are provided in the gallery below.
