Ebay item 3/30/17
www.ebay.com/itm/1995-Jaguar-XJS-2-2-/222456375377
Current bid US $1,800 reserve not met 1 bid 4 days left in auction, seller rd-vabch, 138k miles.

Sellers description:
An exceptionally well kept, great looking classic Jaguar XJS 2+2 luxury convertible automobile, one of the finest series that Jaguar makes.

The vehicle has been made and assembled entirely in England! It's been very well kept and serviced; in fact it runs almost like a new car. It's a great looking exterior in anthracite metallic color which combined with the beige interior adds a lot of luxury appeal to it.

The engine is an exceptional L6 - runs strong and smooth provides the power you have come to expect from a Jaguar. The transmission has the Jaguar mark on it as well and shifts like on a new car, no skips or slips on shifts. The car runs great! The engine compartment is clean, and free of any leaks. All the electrical options appear to be in working order.

As you can judge for yourself from the pictures - the interior is clean while the seats show excessive wear and are currently covered. the center console has been sent out to be recovered, and the window - top switch has been ordered. The European Convertible top is in great condition with a perfect glass rear window. The hydraulics for the top work but need a little help. The boot compartment is missing the cover for the battery.

This Jaguar is equipped with a climate control system.

This Jaguar is a true pleasure to drive, and turns heads whenever it is on the road. Mechanically this Jaguar is a "9", cosmetically it is a strong "6 - 7" but has real potential with a little effort.

Runs and looks GREAT, engine & transmission
Alpine CD / Radio
Paint is in very good condition with the exception of a few chips (as seen in pics).
Seats are worn, and are covered
Arm rest has been sent out to be recovered
Front spoiler is cracked
Rear Bumper has a few scuffs & light cover is cracked
Power Mirrors are inop, might simply be a fuse.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
