50,500 MILES, ON EBAY 04/07, SELLER WRITES:
We are offering this beautiful British Roadster, considered by many to be the last of the Classic Jaguar roadsters. This car is a Florida car that other then the last year being garaged in Pennsylvania, was titled and garaged in Florida since new. I purchased the car last year from the second owner who informed me that the car had been a "snow bird" vehicle for all but the two years he had owned it. Both the prior owner and my wife have driven this car as an everyday car, so it does not have some of the problems a car might have from sitting. We absolutely love this car, but it has proven difficult for my wife to carpool children with it. This car is very unique with its Jade Green Pearl Metallic color, which from what the dealer told us is a very rare color (I have yet to see another like it on the road). Also fairly unique is the leaper on the hood (most have the badge). The car gets looks where ever it goes and many people comment on its beautiful color and style.

Although we kept and will pass along the original Jaguar stereo, we opted to have installed a $1800 Alpine stereo system, with Alpine amp (in the trunk), and high end speakers. This system sounds awesome, even on the highway with the top down (you could barely hear the original stereo with the top down). It also has a Jack to play your IPOD through the stereo...very cool!

Some minor work which we had done on the car include: A full tune-up, new front shocks, and a new Bosche battery. Also, we installed a set of original replacement front carpets from Paul's Jaguar in Florida. Other then wear on the drivers seat consistent with its age, this car looks and runs perfectly!

The car has it's original convertible top boot cover, although it has some small rust spots that can be removed. I purchased a kit to recondition and spruce up the leather that I never got around to doing (it's new, matches the original color and retailed for around $100 and I will throw it in)

We also have a car cover that came with it (although with the garage we have never used it)

The car has its original owners mauals and two remote entry key fobs.

There also is a high end K-40 radar system integrated in to the car. You would think it was factory installed. It came with the car and I was not sure how to use it. When I was getting the stereo installed, I asked what they thought of it and was told it does not need upgrading, as it is one of the best systems on the market. I since obtained a users guide and it does work very well.

Although not included in this auction, I did purchase a set of Dayton Jaguar used chrome wire spoke wheels with very good rubber. The wheels are in very good condition, although I took them off for the winter. They are offered at an additional cost of $1000, which is what I paid for them. They really give this car the True Jaguar look. In my opinion, they should have never put on anything but wire spoke wheels on these cars. I will post the picture later, but again, they are not included in the purchase price.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
