Ebay item 1/16/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJS-XJS-2-2-/121861089826
Current bid US $5,290, no reserve, 15 bids 1 day left in auction. Seller tks-sales, 102k miles.

Sellers description:
I did a Carfax and Blue Book analysis on this car by its VIN, upgrades, history, and condition and it computes its value at $8,950. This is based on it being described as "Very Good" condition (their second highest rating). This means sound mechanically and allows for minor cosmetic issues relating to normal wear and use.

It has over $12,310 documented (documents on hand for your review) in new OEM parts, labor, and upgrades. It's always been serviced by either a Jaguar dealership or specialty Jaguar repair shop.

The last 60,000+ miles were mostly highway miles in sunny Southern California (from 2007 to 2013) where I lived previously. I had the car shipped to Michigan in 2013 where I drove it sparingly in the summer and garage stored it in the winter (up on stands) where it is now. It has never been driven in the winter. It starts and runs fine. I can send video of it running, just send me your email address.

The car has been in our family since August 1999.

Automatic transmission, 4.0 straight six cylinder, power steering, brake and the factory cassette stereo.

Replaced/serviced:
The main computer has been replaced, new tires, front end alignment, front bearings repacked, upgraded chrome wheels, new brakes, new radiator, wiring and sensors, battery, power window switches, oil, trans fluids/filters changed, a/c freon charged. New transmission mounts, sub-frame mounts, heater core, new rear pinion seal/fluid, and other documented work.

As in the picture, I have the stock convertible top boot cover.

It's all stock except for the leaping Jaguar hood emblem that has been installed in place of the flat hood medallion and the chrome instead of brushed wheels. If I kept it I would replace the front seat skins and arm rest cover. The OEM seat skins can be found on ebay for $450-750 and installed yourself or any local seat shop. Let me know if you need assistance finding them.

I have the original manuals, two OEM keys, and two key fobs for the stock alarm and entry.

Title is clear and and in hand.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
