Lot #325 - This 1995 Jaguar XJS convertible is powered by a 4.0-liter AJ16 DOHC engine producing 245hp at 4,750 rpm and 289 ft/lbs of torque at 3,650 rpm mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. It is finished in British Racing Green with a tan leather interior and tan convertible top. The interior features tan Connolly leather, air conditioning, variable-assist power steering, and walnut trim on the facia, doors and center console. The successor to Jaguar's E-Type and referred to as Jaguar's Best Car, the Jaguar XJS is a long-legged luxury Grand Tourer that was manufactured from 1975 to 1996, in coupe, fixed-profile and full convertible body styles. The 1995 model year benefited from a broad range of improvements that included a new engine management system, comprehensive engine revisions and distributor-less ignition. This XJS has been meticulously maintained and serviced since new, has an accident-free CARFAX history and includes all the luxury and performance features you would expect in a classic Jaguar, including an 80-watt entertainment system with a 6-disc CD changer.
