I've gotten so darn picky over the years that I get turned off by any tiny little imperfection. That's why I became a concours judge. Anyway, I want to express to everyone that this XJS has blown me away. No BS. It's amazing by all standards. It's not fluff when I say I can't believe someone kept a car since 1995 in this condition. Truthfully this Jag is really meant for a super picky buyer. It's not meant for a bargain shopper that's willing to compromise on quality. This is really for someone that's looking for an outstanding XJS that could be a show car and possibly a Platinum winner. I would buy this car, but as a dealer that needs to sell cars rather than collect them, I've learned to have discipline. The same as a cocaine dealer that needs discipline to not snort all his product... there'd be nothing to sell. Not good business...right?

My goodness...just look at the underbelly of this car. It's amazingly clean and no rubber coating to mask any corrosion at all. Even the bolt heads look clean.

Clean AutoCheck it's never been in any accidents or mishaps. The paint appears to be 100% original all around the car.

The engine runs great. Super strong engine with excellent throttle response.

The transmission shifts smooth.

The interior is super clean. It smells great, no smokers ever in the car. All original.

The air conditioning of course blows nice and cold.

No fluid drips at all.

Nice and firm suspension

like a low-mile Jag should feel.

Summary:

Overall this XJS is in outstanding condition cosmetically and mechanically. You can tell right away when you drive the car that it's been extremely well cared for. The car looks great in the red on tan combination. I am confident that this Jag will pass any rigorous pre-purchase inspection. A reminder that this is really best suited for a very picky buyer that's looking for an outstanding example and is not one of those low-ball bargain hunters.
