Ebay item 12/21/21
www.ebay.com/itm/115150550187
Car has a buy it now price of $17,500 for 29 days, seller bennd2
Seller's description:
This XJS is my baby. I've had it for about 7 years. Since then, I've put a lot of work into making sure it is totally mechanically sound. Wheel have been swapped out from 15's to 18's off of a late 90's Jaguar XJR. Suspension has been changed to accommodate.
New pads, rotors, starter, battery, and crankshaft damper in the last 10 miles.
New brake calipers and tires in the last 2-3000 miles.
Ski slope center counsel wood replaced to replace ashtrays with cup holders.
Interior is a blue/gray carpeting and a DYED black interior (originally it appears to have been doeskin/tan in color). The dye job leaves something to be desired. I have new two new black Connolly leather pieces cut for the front seats that I've never gotten to the point of installation. The door cards/panels have been replaced with genuine black XJS door panels.
The boot/trunk is in amazing shape.
No dings or scrapes in the exterior at all. Headlights have been replaced with the more traditional double lights over the single lens used in these facelift models.
This car basically needs the leather seats recovered (leather is provided), the center counsel lid recovered or replaced, and a little touchup dye on the dash and ski slope and then, what I was going to do, is put a nice gloss black wrap over the exterior.
Again, I LOVE this car. It's been loved. A LOT. Everything that needs messed with is cosmetic at this point and with a solid foundation.
