Seen on cars.com, Sept. 2007. Ad reads:

"Rare 1995 Jaguar XJS Coupe, Aegean Blue Metallic exterior, Cream interior, low milage, mechanically sound automobile. This car retailed at over $53k new and comes complete with all of the bells and whistles. All power, lumbar seat supports, heated seats, power mirrors, headlight washers, memory seats, very cold a/c. Brand new Jaguar chrome 5 spoke rims and 6 CD player. This vehicle is garaged and only comes out when the sun is shining. This rare model XJS coupe is one of only 375 imported to the the USA in 1995 (the last year they made the coupe) and has the super reliable 4.0 AJ16 engine; fast and smooth acceleration, and whisper quiet while at rest. This motor car is an absolute head turner and is the finest example of it's class available. This is a sound investment for the money.More pictures available upon request."

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
