This 1989 Jaguar XJS is finished in Glacier White over a Barley leather interior with wood trim. Power comes from a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes cruise control, heated seats, and automatic climate control. It was sold new in Missouri and relocated to Illinois in 1992. The current owner acquired it in 2019 and has added approximately 1,200 of the 58k miles shown. Service in December 2019 is said to have included an oil change, a coolant flush, new accessory belts, and replacement of the wheels and tires. This XJS V12 coupe is now offered on behalf of the current owner with a clean Carfax report and a clean Illinois title.
This coupe is finished in Glacier White (NDP), and the seller notes the right front fender has received dent repairs. Euro-style headlight lenses with LED bulbs are fitted up front, and additional illumination is provided by auxiliary front fog lights. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
The 15″ basketweave wheels were recently added and are wrapped in BFGoodrich T/A tires. The seller notes the mufflers for the quad-tip exhaust show corrosion.
The interior is trimmed in Barley hide leather with grey carpets and wood trim on the door panels, center console, and dashboard. An aftermarket stereo is fitted along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a period car phone, and polished trim. A factory CD changer remains installed in the trunk. The bolster on the drivers front seat shows some split stitching.
Just under 58k miles shown on the odometer, with about 1,200 added by the current owner. The seller notes the dome and interior lights do not illuminate, and the handbrake does not work.
The 5.3-liter V12 features an aluminum block and was rated at 263 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Servicing in December 2019 reportedly included replacing the accessory belts as well as conducting a coolant flush and an engine oil change.
The November 2019 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration in Missouri and Illinois.
