47,673 MILES
ON EBAY 03/07
SELLER WRITES:
Hi, Thanks for taking the time to look at my 1989 Jaguar XJS!! This is my personal car and I have owned it for almost 2 years having purchased it from the original owner. I have driven it about 6000 miles. It is in excellent condition and I have made numerous improvments to the car.
This car still has it's original red paint, pin striping and biscuit leather interior. I have added a Nardi mahogany wood rim steering wheel and matching shift knob. The interior is mint with no cracks or stains in the leather. There are a few typical cracks in the center burl wood plate surrounding the shift lever (These are available new). All gauges work correctly, heat and A/C work fine and all lights work. The cruise control works about 75% of the time. The power window and locks work fine. The mileage is correct and is noted as ACTUAL on the title which is lein free and in my name.
The exterior paint is in very good condition with the exception of some slight hazing in the roof panel. Also, a small ding on the very front of the right front fender was repaired by the dealer before the original owner took delivery of the car. It is only noticeable in certain lighting. All the chrome and glass is perfect and the trunk is clean and unused.
The front tires are new and the rear are in good condition. The engine has NEVER overheated and runs great!! Oil pressure is excellent (55 psi) and the temperature NEVER goes over normal and is always below it. From a performance standpoint, please note the "Growler" Air Intake manifolds and K&N air filters installed. What a difference in engine response! I also installed an internal shift kit in the transmission which made the transmission shift much tighter. I removed the two rear resonators to reduce backpressure and added the chrome twin exhaust tips (I felt this car is as close as I would ever come to owning a red Farrari V-12). It is a real joy to drive!! This car comes with the original owners handbook, a factory shop manual and a car cover.
