Car has a buy it now price of $6,500 for 29 days seller gulfstre-11, 33k miles.
Seller's description:
Jaguar XJS 1990 Convertible V12 engine Classic with only 33K miles from new.
This will be the next E Type as investment and to enjoy.
Has the famous V12 5.3 Liter Engine with 33K original mile.
Mechanicals-Engine was taken out and stripped to engine block, then dressed with all new- Gaskets, O Rings, front & rear crankshaft seal, hoses, injector hoses, injectors,- Waterpump, Oil pan gasket, in conclusion all auxiliary parts around engine where- Installed new,(NOTE-there was nothing wrong with engine) engine was simply- Taken out to restore all parts around engine.
CAR WAS RUNNING PERFECT PRIOR TO THIS.
Transmission was serviced including new filter kit & gasket while engine was out.
Suspension-Car has 6 new shocks .
-Front suspension bushings where installed new.
$15,595. was BILL Cost on this.
Car is rust free except for 1 small spot on bottom RH wheel well about the size of a quarter.Car is straight no accidents.
Color is Signal RED from factory shiny in most but will need attention in hood & trunk area -as there the paint is faded/lost the clear.
Interior seats need to be upholstered because some rips but other than that in good condition.-The dashboard is in excellent shape, the wood in some spots need redone.
Top was installed new by previous owner but was installed not correct and will need to be corrected.
CAR NEEDS TO BE FINISHED IN THE WAY OF THE FOLLOWING-RADIATOR, AC CONDENSER NEED TO BE INSTALLED BACK ON CAR, NEW BELTS TIGHTENED, CONNECTION OF SOME ELECTRICAL WIRES, AC FREON AND STARTED.
PAY ATTENTION: CAR IS NOT RUNNING AT THIS TIME HENCE THE PRICE.
ALL THESE PARTS COME WITH THE CAR.
WILL NEED NEW BATTERY.
BOTTOM LINE-CAR NEEDS WORK TO BE FINISHED BUT ALL THE HARD WORK IS DONE.MOSTLY WHATS LEFT IS COSMETICS.
