Sellers description:
Auction: May 9, 2020 to May 25, 2020
Location: Hillsborough, North Carolina, 27278
Stock #: 515

Seller’s Description: 1991 Jaguar XJS Convertible
VIN: SAJTW484XMC177350 Mileage: 72,300 actual

With a 5.3 L Jaguar V12 engine, and a three-speed ZF automatic transmission. 1991 was the last year of the Series II. This mostly original car has been well preserved and maintained by an avid collector and restoration specialist.

Glacier White exterior with black top in excellent condition, and light beige interior. Equipped with factory alloy wheels and new tires. This car drives very wonderfully. The car has the gauge cluster replaced by a dealer with approximately 20k miles on it. It currently show 52,300 miles. A tag in the door jamb documents it, so the true mileage of the car is around 72k miles. From a collector; everything works.

The original burlwood dash is in great condition; the console has been restored and showing some cracks; seats are showing some cracking but in overall good condition with some restoration performed; no apparent concerns.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
