This 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Classic Collection V12 coupe is finished in Signal Red over Doeskin leather and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include 15″ alloy wheels, chrome trim, dual exhaust outlets, power-adjustable and heated front seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, automatic climate control, a car phone, and woodgrain trim. The car spent time in California prior to the seller’s purchase in 2017. Service in preparation for the sale included replacing the battery, spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, and ignition coils in addition to repairing the fuel injector wiring harness, and adjusting the timing and air/fuel ratio. This XJ-S V12 coupe shows 39k miles and is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, touch-up paint, recent service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Signal Red (CFC) and is equipped with quad headlights, fog lights, chrome mirror caps and trim, a power antenna, dual exhaust outlets, and a Jaguar growler hood emblem. The seller notes evidence of the passenger-side fender and door having been repainted. The windshield trim was reattached in November 2022.

Silver-finished 15″ basketweave wheels are mounted with 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel anti-lock ventilated discs. The tires are in need of replacement, and the wheel bearings are noted to have excessive play.

The cabin features power-adjustable and heated front seats and rear buckets upholstered in Doeskin leather with red piping, and burl wood veneers accent the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment includes a cassette stereo, cruise control, automatic climate control, Jaguar-branded floor mats, and an AudioVox car phone. Wear is noted on the seats, and the woodgrain trim is cracking around the shifter. The air conditioning does not work.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 39k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. Service in 2022 included replacing the battery and ignition coils, repairing the fuel injector wiring harness, adjusting the timing and air/fuel ratio, and performing an oil change.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The transmission mount is collapsed, and the transmission pan is leaking.
