This 1991 Jaguar XJS Classic Collection V12 coupe is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and finished in Signal Red over Doeskin leather upholstery. Equipment includes fog lights, 15″ basketweave alloy wheels, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The car was first registered in Indiana and was acquired by the seller in 2018. Subsequent work included refinishing the wheels as well as replacing the windshield rubber trim, exhaust system, air conditioning compressor, drive belts, hood struts, and interior wood trim. This XJS V12 shows 42k miles and is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, touch-up paint, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Signal Red (CFC), and the hood is said to have been repainted under current ownership. Exterior details include a Jaguar growler hood emblem, a power-operated antenna, quad headlights, front fog lights, chrome-finished mirror caps, and polished dual exhaust outlets. The windshield rubber trim was replaced in August 2020.
Basketweave 15″ wheels are finished in silver and are mounted with 235/60 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The rear brake pads were replaced in August 2018. The wheels are said to have been refinished under current ownership.
The cabin features heated and power-adjustable front sport seats and two rear bucket seats upholstered in Doeskin leather with red piping. Wood veneers accent the dashboard, center console, and door panels, while additional amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard computer, a mobile phone, and a Jaguar-branded AM/FM cassette stereo. The center interior wood trim was replaced under current ownership.
A leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows just over 42k miles, approximately 1,600 were added under current ownership.
The fuel-injected 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 263 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. Service performed in August 2018 included replacing the air conditioning compressor and dryer as well as the drive belts, hood struts, and various coolant hoses.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. A stainless steel exhaust system was fitted in August 2018, and the transmission oil pan gasket and filter were also replaced at that time.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate lists factory colors, equipment, and a dispatch date of October 4, 1990. Manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, and a Jaguar Concours d’Elegance judging sheet will accompany the car.
