This 1989 Jaguar XJS is one of a limited number produced with the Collection Rouge package, which specified a coupe body finished in Signal Red along with red-accented 15” basketweave wheels, gold-plated emblems, Magnolia leather upholstery with red piping, and burl elm wood trim. This example was delivered new to Bill Rapp Jaguar in Syracuse, New York, and remained with its original owner until the seller’s acquisition in 2022. The car is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes fog lights, chrome side mirrors, heated front seats with power-adjustable lumbar support, automatic climate control, an AM/FM cassette stereo, cruise control, and power windows and locks. This XJS now shows 6k miles and is offered at no reserve with a window sticker, initial purchase documents, a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, manufacturer’s literature, accessories, a clean Carfax report, and transferable Vermont registration.

The car is finished in Signal Red and features gold pinstriping, quadruple headlights, fog lights, chrome side mirrors, dual exhaust outlets, and gold-plated badging. The seller notes bubbling paint on the left rear quarter panel, and paint chips and a dent on the front edge of the hood.

Red-accented 15” basketweave alloy wheels wear Jaguar center caps and are mounted with 235/60 Hercules H/P 4000 tires. A matching spare wheel stored in the trunk is mounted with an older Pirelli P600 tire. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.

The 2+2 cabin features seats trimmed in Magnolia leather with red piping along with color-coordinated door panels and deep-pile carpets. The dashboard, center console, and door panels are accented with burl elm wood, and additional appointments include heated front seats with power-adjustable lumbar support, automatic climate control, cruise control, an AM/FM cassette stereo, and power windows and locks. The headliner is sagging, and cracking and discoloration on the wood trim is visible.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 6k miles.

The 5.3-liter SOHC V12 features a Magneti-Marelli engine management system and was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. The fuel tank is said to have been replaced under current ownership and fluid services were performed in preparation for the sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Bill Rapp Jaguar in Syracuse, New York, as well as factory equipment, colors, and a total price of $51,500. Initial purchase documents are included in the sale.
