17,293 MILES, ON EBAY 04/07, SELLER WRITES:
Vehicle Description
You are looking at, for bid, a 1976 Jaguar XJS Coupe, that I'm listing for a friend. His name is Clyde Hodge and you may contact him with questions directly by email clyhodge@aol.com or phone 970-532-0663.
CLYDE'S DISCRIPTION: I am offering my 1976 Jaguar XJS Coupe (V12, 5.3L, 285 HP), for auction. It has only 17,293 actual miles. The exterior color is-Green Sand, the interior is-Black and Olive Green, with AC, Wire Wheels, PS, PB, PDL, and CB/Stereo Radio. I purchased this beautiful Jaguar 25 years ago from its original owner in 1982 with 7,000 miles on it. I added 10,000 miles over the next 6 years and it proved to be trouble free, only requiring a new fuel pump. Customary to me, I stored the car in the fall of 1988 in my heated garage. It was mechanically 100% and running beautifully. Other priorities interviened and the car has never been started or driven since. Obviously a new owner would need to purchase a battery, clean the gas tank, fuel lines, injectors and check condition of rubber components before starting and using the automobile. The exterior and leather interior are near perfect. The car is original and accident free with no rust.. I believe this Jaguar is a beautiful classic and should provide a new owner many more years of enjoyable miles.
