Ebay item 7/28/20
www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Jaguar-XJS-V-8-Conversion-310-259-5383/174366920903
Opening bid US $2,500, no reserve, no bids 4 days left in auction, seller redlineautobrokers, 31k miles.
Seller's description:
This is a rust free first year 1976 Jaguar XJS conversion with an awesome running 5.7 lt. V-8. The engine starts right up and runs extremely well! The idle is smooth and it sounds amazing! The car goes into forward and reverse with no issue however we could not test the full potential of the transmission. The entire braking system needs to be completely overhauled as the car does not stop on it's own. The emergency brake will need work as well. The car cannot be driven anywhere until it is repaired and will only be offered for sale to out of state or country buyers who plan on shipping the vehicle. The interior is in good original condition for it's age, the drivers seat has some wear and tear, the passenger seat is excellent. The body is in great shape. The paint appears to be original and also in exceptional condition with few imperfections. The current odometer reading is 31,172 the true mileage of the car and or the engine is unknown.

This Jaguar is a nice example of a tastefully done conversion. It will need some TLC, but it is definitely a great starting point and well worth the effort.
