Car to be at auction 8/15
russoandsteele.com/vehicle-details/

Auction description:
1976 Jaguar XJS V-12 Coupe
Consignment # 4055
VIN #UG2W51245BW
SINATRA WEDDING COLLECTION - Vehicle to be offered for Auction sale WITHOUT RESERVE and SOLD to the highest bidder August 13th 15th, 2015 at Russo and Steele's 15th Annual Monterey California Auction. Please contact us for more information.

Formerly property of Frank Sinatra, purchased new in 1976 as a wedding gift from his 4th wife, Barbara Sinatra, this 1976 Jaguar XJ-S features a stunning green finish that was reportedly chosen to reflect the green in her eyes. This vehicle was purchased through Christie's Auction Pebble Beach in 1995. It reportedly drives like new and looks amazing. Special features include the "Cockpit Series" stereo system by PANASONIC, in dash compass and a very early GE car phone. Also offered with this car is the gift Frank gave to Barbara, a 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow (shimmering in Peacock Blue to reflect the color of his eyes). The original owners manual, sales invoice from Leyland Motorcars of Beverly Hills, CA, a SIGNED ORIGINAL title dated 12.1.95 and original license plates are all included in this offering. An exceptionally fun car to drive with all the mystique of "the Chairman of the Board". Complete paint in 1996, most recent tune up and brakes 2014.

These very special NO RESERVE cars are irresistible souvenirs of an American legend and the lady he loved ideal for the car barn of any Sinatra enthusiast or collector of Hollywood memorabilia and a cant miss opportunity to ring in the year of Sinatras 100th birthday with a truly special set of critically important mementos of his history and the things he truly loved.

In addition, a multitude of documents and memorabilia also accompanies the sale of the Jaguar and/or the Rolls-Royce, with the highest bidder for either of these two cars also going home with this fantastic cache of irreplaceable items, including a Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational golf bag and umbrella and an original wedding day photo album featuring the Sinatras and many of the eras biggest celebrities with negatives complete with a signed letter of authenticity from the events photographer Chuck Scardina! What better way to celebrate the upcoming 100th birthday of Frank Sinatra quite likely the worlds greatest entertainer of the 20th Century!
