Apart from Jaguar, I am only the second owner and bought this car with only 28K miles on the clock in. 2003 car has to date only done 37K miles. she is in concours condition and is used mainly as a show car. It also boasts a MANUALgearbox which is very rare for a late(1994) car.

    Auction description:
    Lot No: 156
    Manufacturer Jaguar Cars
    Model XJS 4.0 Convertible
    First Registered 1994
    Registration No M70 XJS
    Engine No 9EPCNA193835
    Chassis No SAJJNAFD7EJ193877
    MOT tba
    Colour Kingfisher Blue

This outstanding XJS 4.0 Convertible is from the penultimate year of manufacture of the model and was originally registered to the supplying dealer and then sold to the first private owner at 8,000 miles. The current owner and vendor is declaring a total mileage of just 38,000 and is offering the car complete with the cherished registration M70 XJS, which has been valued at £1000.

Finished in Kingfisher blue with cream leather and navy blue mohair hood, the car is said to be in the condition commensurate with a well cared for, low mileage example. It is described as having been fully and correctly maintained, has always been garaged and has recently benefited from a pair of new front tyres.

The car has the later 4.0 engine which is, unusually, mated to the Getrag 5-speed gearbox, which gives the car excellent fuel economy, when driven normally and superb drive-ability when one is feeling a little more sporty.

A superb example of a rare, manual specimen with nominal mileage and excellent service credentials.

    Guide Price: £15750 to £17000
