47k Indicated Miles
3-Speed Automatic Transmission
Arctic Blue over Isis Blue Leather
Repainted w/ Replaced Rear Window
Private Party or Dealer: Private Party
This 1987 Jaguar XJ-SC is finished in Arctic Blue over Isis Blue leather and powered by a 5.3L V12 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The seller acquired the car one year ago and has since added approximately 500 of the 47k indicated miles. A repaint was commissioned by the previous owner, who also replaced the rear window. The seller has installed a new headliner, shocks, and struts. This XJ-SC is offered with an owner’s manual, a Carfax report, and a transferable Vermont registration in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in Arctic Blue and features a folding cabriolet top with a removable center section. The car was repainted and the rear window panel replaced under previous ownership. The included Carfax report notes a 1988 accident, which resulted in damage to the passenger side.
Factory 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Advantage T/A tires showing 2015 date codes. The seller states the car has been stored during the winter months since being brought to Vermont in 2015.
The interior is trimmed in Isis Blue leather and the factory stereo remains installed in the dash. The headliner was reportedly replaced in 2018. The seller states the fuel gauge is inoperable and a horn button has been installed on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. The 6-digit odometer shows approximately 47k miles.
The 5.3L HE V12 was rated at 263 horsepower when new and is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. A 2018 Vermont inspection and emissions test report is included in the sale.
The seller states the shock absorbers and struts were replaced in 2017. Additional underbody photos can be seen in the gallery below.
In addition to the 1988 accident, the Carfax report shows Florida and Vermont registrations.
