Private Party Or Dealer: Dealer

This 1989 Jaguar XJS convertible was sold new at Whitehouse Imported Cars in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2020, reportedly from the widow of its original owner. The car is finished in white over blue leather and powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated blue soft top, automatic climate control, heated and power-adjustable seats, alloy basketweave wheels, fog lights, a Momo steering wheel, and a Panasonic CD stereo. This XJS shows 71k miles and is offered by the selling dealer in Florida at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a car cover, blue top boot, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title.

The car is finished in white and features a power-operated blue soft top with a glass rear window, a front air dam, chrome accents and side mirrors, front fog lights, and dual exhaust outlets.

Factory 15″ basketweave alloy wheels wear Jaguar center caps and 235/60 Pirelli P600 tires. The car is equipped with a fully independent suspension and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.

The cabin features seating and door panel inserts upholstered in blue leather, and burl wood veneers accent the dash, center console, and doors. Amenities include power-adjustable and heated seats, cruise control, an onboard computer, automatic climate control, and a Panasonic CD stereo. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat outer bolster and the passenger door panel is faded.

A wood-trimmed Momo steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The odometer shows 71k miles, approximately 30 of which have been added by the selling dealer.

The 5.3-liter V12 produced 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque when new. The selling dealer replaced the battery and performed an oil change and notes an oil drip.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a GM TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.
