This 1996 Jaguar XJS is finished in white over beige leather and powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a beige convertible top, 16″ wheels, power-adjustable seats, air conditioning, and a cassette stereo. The car was recently acquired by the seller from his stepfather, who purchased it in 1998 and kept it in both Florida and New York. Service performed since 2015 is said to have included servicing the brakes and air conditioning as well as replacing the shocks, suspension bushings, timing chain tensioner, valve cover gaskets, fuel pump, and spark plugs. Service reportedly performed in preparation for the sale included changing the engine oil as well as flushing the brake fluid and coolant. Factory 16″ alloy wheels were mounted with BFGoodrich Touring T/A tires in 2018 according to the seller. A brake fluid flush was performed under current ownership and reported service since 2015 has included servicing the braking system as well as installing replacement shocks and suspension bushings.

The cabin features seats upholstered in beige leather with white piping, matching door panels and carpets, and wood trim on the steering wheel, dashboard, and doors. Equipment includes power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, a stock cassette stereo, a trunk-mounted CD changer, and power windows, locks, and mirrors. Wear is noted on the driver’s seat bolster, and a tear is visible on the driver-side floor mat.

The oil was changed and the coolant was flushed in preparation for the sale, while work conducted over the last 3k miles is said to have included replacing the crankshaft position sensor, timing chain tensioner, valve cover gasket, fuel pump, and spark plugs.
