This Jaguar XJS-C V12 HE was registered in France on September 30, 1989 and its current owner owns it since 2006. It is in its original color combination but the leathers, and the wool carpets are matched to the color of the bodywork and the cowl in black Alpaca fabric have all been redone. It totals 41,000 miles on the odometer, but a service before using is needed. Four new Pirelli P 4000 tires are fitted to the five-spoke "Starfish" rims, which are original. The registration card mentions two seats, but the space behind the seats where the storage box sits, has ben replaced by a seat, as would be on the 4-seater version. The two half-roofs retract very easily and can be kept in the trunk in a bag provided for this purpose. The rear window also descends very easily and transports the occupants in with a feel of a pure convertible. The electrical circuit and its peripherals have either been redone or replaced. The wood varnish of the dashboard had cracked and it needs to be redone. The paint has some very small scratches, but the door openings are very well aligned. This, incidentally, is the rarest model in the XJS family.
