    Jaguar - XJ-SC V12 - TWR Bodykit - 1987

Offered up for auction, this special Jaguar XJ-S Convertible Targa manufacturing year 1987 with the famous 5.3 V12 HE (high efficiency) engine. This Jaguar is equipped with a TWR bodykit of the legendary Tom Walkinshaw Racing team, Walkinshaw won the European Touring Car Championship in a Jaguar XJS 5.3 V12 in 1984.What makes this car unique, in addition to the TWR bodykit, is that it concerns a Targa model which is a rare convertible model providing four different roof variations. The two hard-top panels are easily removed individually for fresh yet pleasant driving in spring and by lowering the softtop convertible roof you can enjoy the freedom that a convertible provides during beautiful summer days. Of the XJ-SC Targa, 5013 copies were produced between 1983 and 1988, first only in a 3.6 V6 version and after 1985 also in a V12 5.3 version of which only 3800 copies were produced, this V12 XJ-SC Targa is rare. Only a few of these copies were fitted with a TWR bodykit! The special white colour (Nibus white) with the bright red leather interior (Mulberry) and the TWR bodykit together create a special appearance.Successor of the icon from the 1960s and 1970s, the legendary Jaguar E-Type and predecessor of the future classic, the Jaguar XK8 introduced in 1996. Engine: the 5.3 V12 HE engine runs and shifts well, the engine has recently been inspected. Interior: The original leather interior in the colour Mulberry shows normal traces of wear and is in fairly good condition. Convertible roof: The softtop convertible roof is in good condition and the two separately removable hardtop panels are also in good condition.Sporty 16 inch sports rims mounted on Dunlop tyres (in fairly good condition), one hub cap is missing. Paintwork and bodywork: Over the course of years, some paintwork spots have been updated and repainted of which some of the repairs are not in the best of quality. This XJ-SC is certainly a car that is suitable for daily use, but it can also be regarded as a solid foundation which you can restore and bring back to competition-worthy condition. Chrome and decorative parts are complete and are in good condition.Brand and Model:Jaguar XJ-SC V12 HE Engine:5,343 cc V12 HEFuel:PetrolTransmission:Automatic Manufacturing year:21-07-1987First registration:14-08-1987 VIN:SAJJNACY4CC137223Odometer reading: 57000 Miles Colour: Nimbus White 700Interior colour: Mulberry (leather interior)This Jaguar was originally delivered in England and was exported to Belgium in 2011.
