1988 Jaguar XJS 5.3 Coupe
Estimate: SOLD for £850
Mileage: 89600
Colour: Westminster Blue
Trim Colour: Oatmeal
Chassis No: SAJJNAEW3BA154848
Engine No:
Registration No: F586OJO

Finished in Westminster Blue with Oatmeal leather upholstery, this particular example is variously described by the vendor as being in "good" (electrical equipment, interior trim, bodywork, paintwork, wheels / tyres) or "excellent" (engine, automatic transmission, chassis) condition. Reportedly supplied new to the renowned footballer Kevin Keegan, 'F586 OJO' is further understood to have been converted to LPG and had its ignition system refurbished in November 2006 by the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club recommended specialist, K. Mugglestone & Co of Boston, Lincolnshire. Equipped with a suitable 80 litre tank as part of the work, the coupe is said to "run superbly on LPG which is available at 49.9p per litre". Further benefiting from "professional waxoyling" and "renewed filters / fluids", the 2+2 was apparently "last serviced at Jaguar specialists Autotechnics of Darlington on 13th June 2008". Sporting "a quad headlamp conversion, sunroof, ABS, air-conditioning, cruise control, electric seats and lattice alloy wheels", this tempting XJS is offered for sale with LPG conversion certificate and MOT certificate valid until June 2009.
