This Solent Blue car is an early one, produced in 1990 and now showing just 109,000 km. It is factory standard and in very good order inside and out. There are light signs of age, but nothing that demands immediate attention, which is confirmed by the current Belgian technical inspection that is valid until December 2026. The vendor acquired the car in Germany in 2017 and has used it sparingly since with dry storage inbetween. Despite the limited use it has been regularly serviced by classic specialists, most recently in May 2025. Other investment includes suspensionwork in 2025 and new Speedline alloys in 2023.
The XJR-S is arguably the ultimate version of Jaguar’s much-loved GT and one of the last of the firm’s sporting cars from its independent era.
The vendor says:
“The car has been regularly serviced The engine starts and runs very smoothly
“A very pleasant car to drive, with a smooth yet powerful ride and excellent comfort. Its overall appearance catches the eye of passers-by.”
