Jaguar produced two cohorts of the “Le Mans V12” limited edition, powered by the HE (High Efficiency) 5.3-litre V12. Built in November 1990 and exported to Japan, this low-mileage example is #161 from the second batch, of which only 280 examples were made. It's equipped with lattice alloy wheels and finished in Brooklands Green, with a cream leather interior featuring heated seats. The odometer shows only 66,607 km (41,387 miles).

It was first registered in the UK on 1st July 2019, and has been registered to the same keeper ever since. The last MoT was passed with no advisories, but this expired in December 2020.

The car is supplied with a Heritage Certificate, together with Japanese handbooks and maintenance sheets, and the current V5C.

Built to celebrate Jaguar’s seventh (and thus far last) Le Mans 24-hours victory

Supplied new to Japan and repatriated by its sole UK registered keeper in late 2018

Notably well preserved and original doubtless thanks to Japan’s salt-free roads

Finished in Brooklands Green with Cream upholstery, Number 161 was supplied new via Jaguar Cars Japan. Serviced at 1,845km, 23,397km and 60,318km, the Jaguar had covered a mere 66,538km (c.41,500 miles) when it passed a UK MOT test for the first time on June 26th 2019. Benefiting from Japan’s famously salt-free roads for most of its life, the ‘Le Mans’ remains remarkably well preserved. Starting readily upon inspection and running well during our recent photography session, this decidedly rare XJ-S is offered for sale with V5C, service history, owner’s manual, Heritage Certificate and fresh MOT.
