For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a very unique 1986 Jaguar XJ-SC HE. The XJ-SC was a Jaguar coupe with a T-Top style roof with the rear window section of the top was also removable. The idea was that you could get the best of both worlds, the coupe look when you wanted it, and the availability of have the open air feel when you wanted that as well. These cars have a bit of a cult following, it seems you either love them or you don't. The XJ-SC was produced from 1983 to 1987. Initially they were powered by 3.6L inline 6 cylinder engine, but in 1985 a 5.3L High-Efficiently V12 engine was chosen as a better power option. Jaguar decided to stick with the coupe, and the replaced the SC cabriolet version with a full convertible in 1988. This XJ-SC is powered by the original 5.3L V12 engine and 4 speed automatic transmission. The Champagne Gold exterior paint is matched by a dark brown cloth top, which are both in very good condition. The beige leather interior is also in great condition, with very little signs of wear from its nearly 30 year existence. The odometer reads 38,009 on this 86' Jaguar, and that is believed to be the actual mileage on the car.
