    2011-04-02 Ebay item

    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-Jaguar-XJSC-V12-Dark-Burgundy-running-condition-/14 ...

    Sellers description:

XJSC model..the rare model that has coupe/convertible...hardtop option. Car has been in storage the past two years and is under a car cover on wooden floor. I was driving it locally before during the summer and fall. I acquired it in 2007 from a Manhattan decorator who had a house in upper New York State, and I was going to do a full restoration, but now need a wagon instead. Vehicle runs on all 12 pistons, none are stuck...I changed some of the hoses, added a new battery, the idle needs some tuning. Interior is still nice but wood trim has faded and could use revarnishing. Leather is in decent shape for 23 year old car, there is some wear. There is some bubbling around the rear wheel wells that is more pronounced on one side.

The odometer reading is 100, 075 and I think its pretty accurate, but for some reason the title says there is a discrepancy? Exhaust is in good shape...underside looks OK some rusty spots in the front passenger bottom according my mechanic who worked on the hoses. Paint is still nice..very attractive deep burgundy. Chrome is in good shape.

I am selling the car with a small reserve...basically for the price of a parts car.......It was a $75,000 car new.....

Has 4 Pirelli P4000tires which still have some life in them....Basically I am selling this car for a bargain...way below what it should be selling for. Engine is strong...transmission shifts into all gears. Great Barrington, MA.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
