This 1988 Jaguar XJ-SC V12 was purchased new by the current owner at Rusnak Jaguar of Pasadena, California, and now shows 48k miles. It is finished in black over Magnolia leather and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a black soft top with removable roof panels, 15″ five-spoke alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and power accessories. This XJ-SC V12 is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the owner with original purchase documents, a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a stamped service booklet, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the name of the owner’s LLC.

The car is finished in Jet Black and features a black soft top with dual removable panels along with a folding fabric panel aft of the roll bar. Additional features include quad headlights, front fog lights, chrome mirror caps, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets. The power antenna grommet is missing, and the soft top rear window is yellowing.

The 15″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P5 Cinturato tires measuring 215/70. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs, and a brake fluid flush was performed in preparation for the sale. The tires show cracking.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable seats upholstered in Magnolia leather along with burl wood veneer accents on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment includes a cassette stereo, cruise control, and power accessories. The seller notes a refrigerant leak from the A/C compressor, the headliner is sagging, and a cassette tape is stuck in the cassette player.

The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 48k miles. The oil pressure gauge is nonfunctional.

The aluminum 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. The car passed a California emissions inspection in July 2023, and servicing that same month is said to have included replacement of the battery and changes of the engine oil and power steering fluid. An oil leak is noted from the valve covers.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.

Manufacturer’s literature and original purchase documents are included in the sale.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Rusnak Porsche-Audi, Inc. of Pasadena, California, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $51,260.
