This 1989 Jaguar XJ-S V12 convertible was purchased by the current owner, a Jaguar Clubs of North America judge, from the reported original owner in 2014 and now shows 79k kilometers (~49k miles). Finished in Signal Red over black leather, the car is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 that drives the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a black soft top, 15″ cross-spoke alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, heated seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Kenwood cassette stereo. This XJ-S V12 convertible is offered by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, on behalf of the owner in Canada with a Jaguar jacket, assorted literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and Alberta registration.
The car is finished in Signal Red and features a black soft top, a power antenna, quad headlights, fog lights, chrome mirror caps, and dual exhaust outlets.
Silver-finished 15″ cross-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 225/60 Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock discs.
The heated seats are upholstered in black leather, while burl wood veneers accent the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Appointments include a driver-side airbag, a Kenwood cassette stereo, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 260-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 79k kilometers (~49k miles), approximately 16k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. The front crankshaft seal, water pump, and coolant hoses were changed in October 2025. The rear crankshaft seal, crankshaft position sensor, distributor cap and rotor, ignition control module, and ignition coils were replaced in May 2026. The seller notes an oil leak from a rear banjo fitting.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
A silver metallic Jaguar jacket will accompany the car along with assorted literature, service records, and a July 2019 Driven Division judging sheet from the Jaguar Clubs of North America with a net score of 9.786.
