This Canadian-market 1994 Jaguar XJS 2+2 convertible remained under the care of its original owner and their family until the seller’s purchase in 2022, and it now shows 79k kilometers (~49k miles). Powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission, the car is finished in Flamenco Red over beige leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, fog lights, a power-retractable beige soft top, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable front sport seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This XJS convertible is offered in Canada with manufacturer’s literature, 2016-2022 service records, a clean US Carfax report, and British Columbia registration.
The car is finished in Flamenco Red and features a power-retractable beige soft top as well as fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna.
The 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Firestone Potenza tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The seller tells us that a full refresh of the suspension system was carried out in 2020, and an invoice in the gallery shows that the shocks and springs were replaced in April of that year by Octagon Motor Group of Vancouver.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable front sport seats and two rear bucket seats upholstered in beige leather. Interior amenities include a six-disc CD changer, cruise control, and automatic climate control.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 260-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 79k kilometers (~49k miles), approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 219 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The cylinder head was serviced with replacement valves in 2016, and the upper radiator hose and heater control valve were replaced in 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced in 2022.
