This 1987 Jaguar XJ-SC V12 remained with its original owner up until it was purchased in 2020 by the current owner. The car is finished in Satin Beige, and a refresh for its Buckskin leather-trimmed interior was carried out in December 2020 including recovering multiple components and replacing the carpets, wood trim, and more as outlined below. Powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, features include a limited-slip differential, a brown soft top, a top boot, removable roof panels, 18″ five-spoke wheels, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This XJ-SC V12 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve with service records, spare and removed parts, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Maryland title in the owner’s name.

The car is finished in Satin Beige (AFV) and is equipped with a soft top that features dual panels up top along with a removable fabric panel aft of the roll bar. Additional equipment includes a brown soft top, a top boot, quad headlights, front fog lights, chrome mirror caps, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets.

The 18″ five-spoke wheels are said to have been sourced from a Jaguar XJR, and they are mounted with Michelin tires that were installed in July 2022. The front brake rotors and front upper and lower ball joints were replaced in December 2020, at which time a sway bar was fitted.

The interior was trimmed in Buckskin leather (AFR) from the factory, and it was refreshed by Master Auto Service of Rockville, Maryland, in December 2020, with work including replacing the armrest console, rear parcel shelf, rear deck board, rear cubby box, door panels, carpets, and wood trim pieces along with recovering the storage boxes. One of the power-adjustable seats was also rebuilt and recovered during the refresh, and the dash panel was replaced in September 2024. Interior features include cruise control, automatic climate control, power windows, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a luggage trunk mounted behind the seats.

The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 59k miles, although the seller tells us that it stopped working a few months ago, and approximately 400 miles have been driven since then. Approximately 9k miles have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. Work in December 2020 included repairing the radiator and replacing the fuel filter, battery, thermostat, and multiple gaskets, while the fuel rail was repaired in June 2021, at which time the fuel pump was replaced. The spark plugs and various drive belts were replaced in September 2024.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
