On eBay September 11, 2018. Current Bid is USD $ 2,051 with 29 bids. Has 45,106 miles but shows a CarFax report descrepancy. USA VIN is SAJNV3848HC136064.

Private Seller with 3 Previous Owners. 1987 Jaguar XJ-SC T-top Cabriolet, Rare body style, NO RESERVE. Owned by one family from new until this year. Generally good condition, but it does need an alternator. Runs and drives well. Does not smoke. Drives well, transmission is good, and car is nice and tight. Silver with Blue canvas roof and Blue Leather interior. The paint is presentable. It did have stick-on body moldings which have been removed. There are areas of the paint where it looks like a car cover left shadows in the paint, which may or may not polish away. The canvas roof is faded, but the canvas is good, so it can probably be dyed. The car has the removable roof panels over the driver and passenger. It has has two back tops, the hard version and the convertible version. Automatic transmission. A number of service records are included. The mileage is "true mileage unknown" but the odometer reads about 45,000 miles. The records seem to report the mileage, so it may have had a broken odometer at one time. Carfax does not report any problems other then the mileage issue. The car is factory stock except it has a nice aftermarket steering wheel. A video has been made that shows a cold start and a detailed walk around of the car, at www.youtube.com/watch. It is being sold with a clear Virginia title. The body is nice and straight, except for two impressions on the left rear quarter panel. I think the minor one towards the top of the fender can be removed by a paintless dent service, and maybe the other one can too. The only rust I can find is a tiny little bubble area on the passenger door that could be lightly sanded and touched up.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
